Pectus Excavatum is a common condition where the breastbone sinks into the chest. Pectus excavatum is often noticeable shortly after birth and typically worsens during the adolescent growth spurt. It's more common in males. Pectus excavatum can look as if the centre of the chest has been scooped out, leaving a deep dent. The condition can be treated with a Vacuum Bell or surgery.
